Exhibition Review
Germany is the world leader in solar power, in 1999 the new German Renewable Energy Law, which greatly promoted the development of solar energy industry. 2004 Germany installed 100,000 new solar equipment, for the first time surpassed Japan, ranking first in the world. Last year, the German solar energy industry output value reached 2 billion euros, an increase of 60% over the previous year. The German government plans to put renewable energy in the total energy proportion from the current 13% to 27% in 2020.
